Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (Test & Tag)
One Stop Fire and Safety staff are fully qualified to Test & Tag your electrical equipment.
It is a requirement under the Work Health & Safety Regulations 2011 that anyone undertaking a business must have their electrical equipment inspected & tested. It is important to have your electrical equipment checked as non-compliant or damaged equipment has the potential to kill or start a fire.
The frequency of testing is determined by the type and location of the equipment. It can be as little as every month or as long as every 5 years. Please contact us to find out how often your electrical equipment needs to be tested.
All Test & Tag Inspections recieve a record of inspection which is required to be kept onsite and presented to workcover at their request.
Exit & Emergency Lighting
Exit and Emergency lighting is required in the majority of commercial buildings. Not only do they provide notification of the building exits, they provide battery powered lighting in the event of a power failure. Emergency Lights are generally installed in hallways, public areas and on paths of egress to provide additional lighting to assist with the evacuation of the building.
